Warlock Subclass: Eternity Keeper
Expanded Spell List
The Eternity Keeper lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a Warlock spell:
- 1st: False Life, Inflict Wounds
- 2nd: Gentle Repose, Phantasmal Force
- 3rd: Speak with Dead, Bestow Curse
- 4th: Death Ward, Stone Shape
- 5th: Animate Objects, Creation
Divine Familiar
At 1st level, you can cast the Find Familiar spell. However, you are bonded with a singular ethereal entity. This entity shares a telepathic bond with you, allowing the two of you to communicate over any distance on the same plane. On your turn, you can use a bonus action to allow your familiar to cast one of its spells, chosen from the following list:
- Magic Missile (useable times equal to your proficiency bonus, recharged after a long rest)
- Animate Dead (at will, but the total number of controlled undead can't exceed half your proficiency bonus, rounded down)
- Cure Wounds (the spell level is determined by your proficiency bonus, useable once per long rest)
Familiar's Covenant
Starting at 1st level, when you form a contract with a spirit, you can choose to shape them into an ethereal feline form. You can communicate telepathically with these cats, and they can serve as your scouts. They cannot attack and can pass through solid objects. The maximum number of cats you can have at one time equals half your Warlock level, rounded down.
Urn of the Keeper
At 6th level, you gain the ability to create an ethereal Urn. This Urn is a pocket dimension in which occupants can take a short rest. If you complete a short rest within the Urn, you regain hit points equal to half your maximum hit points without expending hit dice. You can stay inside the Urn indefinitely. If a creature, other than you, remains in the Urn when its effect ends, they turn into ethereal ash but can be re-summoned by you at will. If the Urn is destroyed, it can be reformed with a ritual that takes 1 hour, which you can perform during a long rest.
Guardians of the Afterlife
By 10th level, you can call upon spirits to shield you and your allies. When an enemy within 30 feet of you attacks, you can use your reaction to summon a spirit to potentially cause the attack to miss. The attacking creature must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw against your Warlock spell save DC or the attack misses. After you use this feature a number of times equal to half your proficiency bonus, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
Familiar's Blessing
At 14th level, when you or a creature within 30 feet of you takes damage, you can use your reaction to reduce that damage by half. When you do so, both you and your familiar gain temporary hit points equal to your proficiency bonus. These temporary hit points stack with any other temporary hit points you have. After you use this feature a number of times equal to half your proficiency bonus, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
