Apeans
This is a Playtest Version. [2023.09.13]
The Dungeon Master reserves the right to make any alterations to this in order to keep the game balanced and fun for everyone.

Emerging from the primeval forests, the Apeans have adapted to multiple terrains over eons. Their dexterous fingers, agile bodies, and keen senses manifest from their ancestral ties to both primates and humans. While they might differ in habitat and some abilities, all Apeans share a deep connection with nature and an intrinsic urge to form communities.
Appearance
Covered in fur ranging from deep black to sandy brown, Apeans have strong, compact bodies that move with a grace belying their strength. Their expressive eyes, pronounced canines, and the characteristic gait make them distinct from other humanoids. Their hands and feet are tools, helping them grip, climb, and even communicate.
Alignment
Leaning towards neutrality, Apeans balance personal freedom with a strong sense of community. Their love for nature occasionally causes them to be at odds with unchecked urban expansion.
Lifespan
Apeans mature by age 12 and live up to around 70 years. Their life stages mirror those of humans.
